The Tourism Minister has said that this decision has addressed a long pending demand of the travel industry and would facilitate tourists visiting the country... K. The Ministry of Tourism has set a target of increasing the share of India in world tourist arrivals from the current 0.6% to 1% by the end of the 12th plan period and a relaxation in the visa regime would contribute to a large extent in achieving this target.
